Custom Ring Sling Information
Custom ring slings are made to order so you can customize the length, ring color and shoulder/rail orientation. Once you have placed your order, please send an email to info@appleblossomwovens.com with the following information:
1. Order number
2. Sling size
3. Ring color
4. Which shoulder you prefer to wear your rings on (for Signature ring slings only)
5. Which color rail you would prefer to be closest to your face when wearing your sling on your preferred shoulder.
See below for more information and pictures to help you make your selections.
Once we have received your email with your order preferences, please allow 2-3 weeks to complete your sling and get it shipped to you.

Sizing
Slings are cut to allow for 8% shrinkage. The size lengths listed below indicate the length after washing and/or drying.

If you are unsure on which size ring sling to select, the general guideline is to select your t-shirt size. However, if you have a large chest or are carrying an older child you may want to go up one size. You will also want to consider how far down you would like the tail of your sling to hang. Some folks prefer it to be quite long, so they can use it to cover baby's head when sleeping or nursing. And other folks prefer it to be shorter, coming just to the wearer's hip. Shoulder Preference
If you usually hold baby on your left hip, then you’ll wear your rings on your right shoulder.
If you usually hold baby on your right hip, then you’ll wear your rings on your left shoulder.
Pattern Orientation
Most of our fabric is woven with a gradient, where each rail (a term for the hem along the length of the carrier) is a different color. As you customize your sling, you get to pick which colored rail is closest to your face when wearing it on your preferred shoulder.

Shoulder Type
Our slings are converted with a gathered shoulder, with 7" from seam to rings.
The pattern is carefully aligned and neatly sewn so the sling can be worn inside-out to allow for either rail to be worn facing up. This photo of Dreamer Twill (Silver Linen) shows the visible seam when worn inside-out.
